**Year 12 Graduation and HSC Update**
As we prepare to celebrate the graduation of our Year 12 class, it is important to acknowledge the remarkable effort our students and teachers have put in throughout this year. This is always a significant milestone in the life of a school, but it is also an important reminder that the HSC journey is still underway. With seven weeks remaining until the completion of the final examinations, there is still valuable time for our students to continue building towards their goals.
These next seven weeks will be crucial for every Year 12 student. While this does not mean studying every hour of every day, it does mean using their time wisely and balancing periods of focused study with much-needed opportunities for rest and reflection. This balance is what allows young people to remain motivated, resilient, and able to perform at their best when it matters most. Parents can play a vital role by helping their children establish routines that foster both commitment to preparation and moments of renewal.
This Year 12 group also represents a significant milestone for our school programs. Many of our students have already started their career and study pathways well before finishing school, demonstrating the strength of our model for early commencement of the HSC. Through opportunities to begin HSC courses as electives in Years 9 and 10, students have been able to fast-track their studies. For many, this has meant carrying 4–5 units into Year 11, creating space in their timetables to complete TAFE or university courses while still at school. This approach has given our graduates a head start in their future pathways, preparing them not only for the final exams but also for life beyond school.
We are immensely proud of the persistence, courage, and adaptability shown by our Year 12 students. Their achievements so far, and the way they have embraced the opportunities available to them, reflect their character and the support provided by their families and teachers. As graduation approaches, we look forward to celebrating their growth, their successes, and the bright futures that await them.
