Year 1 Clocking In!

Year 1 have been learning about the hands of an analogue clock and where they are positioned to make an o’clock time. They also matched this with the same digital display of an o’clock time.

 

 

 

Year 1's Big Adventure to Rickett's Point

Here are some reflections from the Year 1 students on their recent excursion:

 

Rickett´s point was so much fun.

I learnt lots of cool stuff.

We even did a sandcastle competition. I was working with Daisy and Amaya but we didn´t win but we still had fun.

On Tuesday grade 1’s went on an excursion to Rickett’s point and we had so much fun!

First we had a walk around on the rock pools and we saw so many interesting things!

Next we saw a lot of interesting shells and sea creatures.

Then we played some beach games like sea gull and crab and shark and fish.

Finally we had a sand castle competition and I won with Stevie, Sophia ,Georgie, Jemima, Evita and Eloise!

We went to Rickett's Point on the 9th of September.

 

We learnt a lot of stuff about the beach!

 

We played beach games and we had so much fun!

First we went on a bus .

Second, we arrived at the beach and ate our snack, after we put our bags in the room in case it rained .

 After we went on the rocks there was sum slippery ones and sum were wobbly one was like a island .

Next  we learnt about sea creatures.

Finally we played games and we also had free time There was a sand castle competition  at the beach. Isaiah and I lost  and after we went to school to watch lilo and stitch.
