An Egg-cellent Arrival!
There's some egg-citing news at our school! Our eight new chickens have arrived and are settling in perfectly.
They've made themselves right at home, and they've even started laying eggs! Students love watching them during recess and lunch. It's a great chance for them to learn all about how to care for chickens and where our food comes from.
We are so happy to have these new feathered friends join our school family!

Year 5 Science
This term, Year 5 students have been exploring the fascinating topic of Changes to Earth’s Surface in Science. They have investigated the powerful natural forces of earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis, and discovered how these events shape the world we live in.
As part of their learning, students enjoyed a hands-on volcano experiment, using vinegar and bicarbonate soda to create their very own artwork eruptions. They also showed fantastic teamwork and creativity in the “Earthquake Challenge,” where they built spaghetti and red frog lolly structures to see which could be the tallest and most stable during a simulated earthquake.
The students had a wonderful time learning through investigation, collaboration, and creativity, while deepening their understanding of the Earth’s ever-changing surface.
