What a Term!
As we wrap up an absolutely jam-packed BNWPS Term 3, the CET wishes all families a joyful and restorative school holiday break!
While our main focus this term was the hugely successful and well-loved Trivia Night, we intentionally held off on smaller CET events to make space for the many other brilliant school activities—such as Book Week, Camps, Athletics, Wakakirri, Spring Magic Market, and more! We’re always mindful not to stretch our amazing volunteer base too thin, and we deeply appreciate the energy parents and carers bring to our school community.
Behind the scenes, the Community Events Team has been quietly meeting and starting to shape plans for Term 4—and beyond!
Interested in getting involved in 2025?
We’re calling out for new team members to join us—whether it’s for a Term, the full year or just helping with specific events. We’ll be hosting an Open Online Meeting in Term 4. (We’ll announce a date early next term)! It’s a relaxed way to meet the team, see how we operate, and ask questions. You’re welcome to simply sit in and observe.
Our team is friendly, efficient (meetings run about 1 hour, 2x per term), and we keep things light—just do what you can, when you can. Many hands really do make light work. We’d also especially love to welcome more Dads and Male-Identifying Carers to continue building a balanced, inclusive team.
Stay tuned for more in Term 4—and thanks again for an incredible term!
Trivia Night 2025
In Case You Missed It…
We’re thrilled to share that our Term 3 Trivia Night raised an incredible $6,426.63 in profit for BNWPS! This amazing result reflects the generosity, spirit, and enthusiasm of our wonderful school community—thank you!
And one final call-out: as we look ahead to planning the 2026 Trivia Event, your feedback matters.
If you haven’t had a chance yet, we’d love to hear your thoughts. It only takes a minute, and your suggestions are already helping shape next year’s planning. Huge thanks to those who’ve already responded—we’re listening and we appreciate your input!

All volunteers at the school need a valid Working With Children’s Check - click this link to apply if you don’t have one. It’s fairly straightforward and free for volunteers.
