Movie Night Review  

Movie Night is an annual event presented by the instrumental music students in the Ballarat High School Concert Band. 

The production committee has a key role in the Movie Night. This year thanks should go to our Band Captain Helena Anderson for her poster/programme design and implementation, Keira Canfield Culley for accessing/producing the movie posters at the red carpet entrance of the theatre as well as Maggie Phillips for her work with the popcorn/chocolates etc for front of house. All of these students also helped with the stage set as well as others from the band. 

Students gave an outstanding performance with special guest solo artists Ella Harrison on vocals, Tom Li on piano, as well as Caleb Spiller, who both arranged and conducted “The Godfather”.

The enthusiastic audience lifted the students to produce a fabulous performance and create a real buzz for the night. 

I would like to thank all the students, staff and parents involved in creating Movie Night 2023.
