Youth Masses
Musicians wanted: Our Lady of Dolours Church, Chatswood.
Our local parish now has a Musical Director, Mr Titus Grenyer, who is keen to include our St Pius X College musicians in a monthly Youth Mass. These take place on the last Sunday of every month and are able to be used as service hours. Students who are interested should see Mrs Westhoff for more details.
Assumption Masses - Tuesday 15 August
A very big thank you to our Junior and Senior Chorales and Year 11 instrumentalists who provided beautiful music at the Assumption Masses at 10:15 am and 1:45 pm at Our Lady of Dolours Church yesterday. Sharing your talent with the community is an important aspect of being a musician and supporting the liturgy is an special way to do so.
Splinters, Splashes, Sounds, Snaps, Stage and Stories
Please come and support our Year 12 musicians and actors, and indeed all the talented HSC students, in their performances and displays at the annual Splinters, Splashes, Sounds, Snaps, Stage and Stories event next Thursday 24 August from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Each of our talented HSC students will be performing one of their works and you are welcome to watch as many as you wish! Musical performances will be in the Band Room and Drama performances will be in Music Room 2 downstairs. Refreshments provided.

Drama
Junior Drama Ensemble
A big thank you to Year 11 students, Michael Krizan and Blake Markulin, who have run the Junior Drama Ensemble for the past three weeks. The students have been fully engaged and Michael said how focused and cohesive the group were. We look forward to welcoming Elodie back on Friday.
Intermediate Drama Ensemble
This group can now begin learning their lines for Pete the Sheep.
Senior Drama Ensemble
No rehearsal Monday 21 August due to the staff meeting. Please learn your lines for Flesh.
HSC Drama
Extra rehearsals will run on Sunday 20 September in the Sarto Centre in preparation for the examination on Friday 25 September. All groups are expected to be there.
Parents, don’t forget to join us for Splinters, Splashes, Sounds, Snaps, Stage and Stories on Thursday 24 September. The Drama students will be in Music Room 2. All are welcome.
