Unit Focus - Review

This unit I have enjoyed painting and drawing yet instead of just drawing what we have been told to draw we have also been able to do a lot of research and learning on the topics and people we have researched. 

My favourite part of this unit would be painting a watercolour landscape based on Albert Namitjiras artworks. I think the most thrilling part of this unit would be when you see your own artworks in the animation, it gives you a sense of accomplishment when you see your own artwork or voice in the animation.

Unit focus this term was really fun and interesting. We learned about Nicky Winnmar and Adam Goodes who are indigenous sports players, and we also learned about Vincent and Albert Namatjira who are indigenous artists.

I loved painting the background for medicine and I also loved drawing bush medicine.

Aaliyah and I made an animation for the medicine topic which was kind of about how you would use bush medicine if you got hurt.

Overall, in my opinion, this unit focus topic was my favourite!

In unit focus this term I have learnt about what the Archibald prize is and about the native medical plants and their properties. I have enjoyed painting the landscapes and painting the Archibald prize.

When we first started, I was so surprised how well the animation worked.
