IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

FOR SACRED HEART FAMILIES

Uniform

Transition to Summer Uniform: As it heats up this week we will continue to give our families the choice to send their children to school in either their full summer or full winter uniform until the end of Term 3. Remember to use your discretion as spring brings changes in weather.  

 

The School Hat with emblem must be worn by all students at all times during all outside activities. This is in line with our Sun Protection Policy and ensures we continue to be a Sun Safe School. If your child comes to school without their school hat, they will be required to stay under the shaded areas of the playground. Students will not be supplied with a hat to wear for hygiene reasons. 

 

A Compass message was sent out last week regarding the ordering of summer uniform items for the Uniform Shop.

We kindly ask that if parents need summer uniform items for their child/ren that they send an email to bogadmin@arm.catholic.edu.au indicating the following:

  • What uniform item they are wishing to purchase, the quantity and size/s. This will help us out for the initial stocking process.

We will be stocking:

  • Boys Short Sleeve Lemon Shirts 
  • Grey Shorts
  • Girls Sports Skorts
  • Unisex Sports Shorts
  • Sports Polo Shirts
  • School Hat
  • Sports Tracksuit pants and jacket
  • Lemon Ties (for girls summer dress)

We do not stock:

  • Boys grey (gold/blue stripe) socks ~available from Lowes Tamworth
  • Girls Dress ~available from Lowes Tamworth

The PTF have decided to restock uniform items for the convenience of families and we hope that families will support this service, however please remember that if you are purchasing your child's uniform items elsewhere that you keep in line with our uniform policy that was attached to the newsletter last week.

 

The delivery cut off date for this term for LWReid is this Friday so we ask that you send an email by Wednesday 13 September so that we can collate the order.

 

We also have various second hand items in the Clothing Pool available for purchase. 

 

Many thanks to Mrs Tina Swain who has generously offered her services to be the Uniform Shop Co-ordinator. Once we have our initial meeting, a day and time will be decided upon as to when the Uniform Shop will be open.
