Yr 2-6 Dubbo ZooSnooz Excursion

ONLY 2 DAYS TO GO!! On Wednesday we head to Dubbo Western Plain Zoo for our Yr 2-6 excursion. Haire's Bus will depart from school at 8am sharp so please ensure that your child is at school by no later than 7:40am. We will be going the back way to Mullaley so students from Gunnedah will need to meet us at school. The expected arrival time back at school is 2:30pm on Thursday 14 September. The school will give several updates throughout the day via Compass. We are endeavouring to supply a link so that photos can be added to it throughout the excursion.

Please ensure that all clothing is clearly marked with your child's name. As it is still quite cool, please ensure that warm clothing for the night walk.

Medication:

Please ensure all medication is packed in its original packaging, clearly marked with your child's name, required dosage and dosage interval/s. Store in a ziplock bag with your child's name on it and give it to your child's teacher the morning of departure. 

The school will bring the medication that they have at school as well as the first aid kit.

Real Talk

Real Talk is all about getting realon the topics of relationships and personal identity. Based on Christian values and using personal sharing from a team of dynamic presenters, Real Talk provides presentations, programs and up-to-date resources. We want all young people to know their true value, worth and dignity and to experience love for all it was created to be.

Next Wednesday 20 September students in Year 4 and Year 6 will be part of the Real Talk program that has been organised by the Catholic Schools Office. Mrs Goddard will be transporting the Year 6 students to St Francis Xavier School, Narrabri. They will join with their Year 6 students. Our Year 4 students will be zooming from Sacred Heart School. If there are any Year 6 parents available to also transport our Year 6 children on this day, could they please contact Mrs Goddard or the office as soon as possible.

A Compass Event for Year 6 parents to give permission to attend will be uploaded by the end of this week, so please keep an eye out on your Compass notifications. Expiry will be Monday 18 September.
