Change to Performance Date 

Unfortunately, due to some clashes, we have had to change the dates of some upcoming performances. These are now: 

Monday October 23 – Ensembles Concert 

Monday November 20 – Solos and Chamber Night 

Monday November 27 – Recruitment Night  

All three of these events will take place in the Theatrette. 

Instrument Of The Week 

This week our instrument is the bass clarinet. This is looks like a large clarinet but shaped like a saxophone and mainly plays the bass line in a concert band. It has also made appearances in popular music. For example, the Beatles' song "When I'm Sixty-Four" features a bass clarinet in the instrumentation. 

Instrumental Music Program 

We still have vacancies on a number of instruments in the instrumental music program, particularly on brass and woodwind. If you are still interested in learning an instrument but haven't signed up yet, come and see Liesl on Level 1 of the Enterprise Building to collect some forms.
