Victoria Police Bendigo Careers Expo

We welcome students to attend our Bendigo Careers Expo on Saturday 14th October held at La Trobe University – Bendigo Campus from 10.00am – 4.00pm.

This being one of our larger scale events, it is an amazing opportunity for students to learn more about the Victoria Police recruitment process.

Students will be able to speak one-on-one with our recruitment team and many of our specialised units.

For more information regarding the event, please visit our Police Career page here to secure a general admission ticket.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Regards,

Career Conversations Around the Dinner Table

Arrive & Thrive has created a brand new free handout to start career conversations around the dinner table. Introducing the Dinner Menu. The Dinner Menu is designed to break the ice between adults and students about all things careers and work. Simply choose one question from each menu section, or have them chosen for you; it’s up to you! The adult chooses from the adult side and the student from the student side. This guide is perfect for students aged between 12-18. Take it in turns, and let’s break the ice on these difficult conversations!

Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC)

VTAC is the central office that administers the application processes for places in tertiary courses, scholarships and Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) at universities, TAFEs and independent tertiary colleges in Victoria (and a few outside Victoria).

VTAC opened for current Year 12 students on Monday 31st July @ 9:00am. The Year 12 Guide is available on the VTAC website.

Open Days provide an opportunity for students, parents and caregivers to find out about institution’s courses and programs, explore campus facilities and speak with current students and staff. Open Day dates are available on the VTAC website www.vtac.edu.au/opendays and on the tertiary institution websites. There is Open Day information on the College Newsletter.

For further information please contact Catherine Anderson at the College.
