Bright World Of Art

Suze, Nova and the Van Der Ende family

Shanti and I would like to express our gratitude and say thank you to everyone for all your fantastic support of the BBPS Art Show last week! It was fantastic to see so many Grandparents and special friends come and enjoy lunch with their grandchildren or special people and then come through and hear about the artwork that our creative and talented students have been working on throughout the year.

A huge thank you to the parents that came in to help with the set up on Monday morning and to our Parents Association for all the brilliant work they do for our school community through the year. A special mention to Talo Perna who co-ordinated and organised the BBQ and to the parents and staff that helped to cook and run the sausage sizzle on Wednesday afternoon. It was very much appreciated.

Thank you also to our three amazing Visual Art captains Holly, Yianni and Haruto who have been wonderful role models to the younger students and brilliant leaders in our school. A shout out also to Tash and Xavi from Grade 6 and all other students from across different year levels that were a great help with setting up and packing down the Art Show.

Thank you to our Performing Arts teacher Sally Wickes and Phil Gunter for taking the time to organise the fabulous bands to perform in front of our families on Wednesday afternoon. It was wonderful to see the culmination of our students artwork that they have been working on throughout the year. Their creativity and talent inspires us all every day.

Thank you so much to those parents who took the time to send a message...

'We were super impressed with the quality of the art exhibition in terms of quality work and diversity of materials used. A huge amount of pride was put into the art work but also into presenting it. Whoever was in charge of this show should be congratulated.'

Kind regards,

Georgie and Shanti
