Year 2 excursion to Richmond
On Tuesday 12 September, Year 2 enjoyed a sunny morning in Richmond. Students visited the riverbank where they fed the ducks and practised their observational drawing skills. They also explored the history of Richmond Gaol and wrote down questions of the things that they wondered about and found interesting.
Still-life sketches
Year 3 students were immersed in the historic beauty of our convent building on Monday afternoon as they worked on their sketching and drawing skills. We look forward to seeing the finished products and their unique depictions of our most famous landmark.
Drop Everything and Do Maths!
Students in Year 3 and Year 7 donned their thinking caps as they worked together on mind-bending maths activities and games during this morning's Drop Everything and Do Maths sessions.
Taking leap of faith—in the wilderness
Outdoor Leadership 3 and Outdoor Education 3 recently enjoyed an adrenaline-packed two-day camp in Launceston, where they experienced the thrill and excitement of abseiling and rock climbing over the the Cataract Gorge. The group was also treated to a breathtaking aerial view of the Hollybanks Forest Reserve as they tackled the Hollybanks tree ropes challenge, providing opportunities for team building and leadership.
Kinders and special guests have a ball
It was lovely seeing our Kinders and their special guests having so much fun together at our Father's Games Afternoon on Wednesday 6 September. Kinders eagerly took part in a rotation of indoor cricket, frisbee-throwing, hopscotch, gymnastics and an obstacle course. Their boundless energy was impressive, and dads and grandads were certainly put through their paces.
