Fiji Immersion Tour

The Fiji Immersion Tour, held from September 23 to 30, was a resounding success, providing 12 students and staff with a transformative cultural and service experience. The program fostered gratitude, humility, and global awareness while strengthening partnerships with Relata Primary School and Magodro District School, establishing a foundation for continued collaboration.
Participants engaged in cultural immersion, service projects, and community outreach, developing meaningful cross-cultural connections. A key highlight was assisting in the preparation of three plots of land for the Hands of Love correctional center ministry, an experience that inspired gratitude and purpose.
The tour had a profound impact on participants’ worldviews and spiritual growth, with many expressing a desire to return for future service. The experience reflects the College’s enduring commitment to service-based education, empathy, and global citizenship.
For nine days, I went on a immersion trip to Fiji that deeply changed me. The beauty of the island and its people opened my eyes to life beyond my own world and reminded me of God’s blessings. We snorkeled with turtles and sharks, visited remote villages and churches, and met a village chief. Connecting with students at two schools, seeing their joy and hope, was inspiring. Staying at Pastor Joe’s place, Selah, and sharing traditional Fijian meals brought us closer. This journey strengthened my faith, helped me trust God more, and inspired me to serve with purpose. | OLIVIA E. 11N
The Fiji Immersion Tour was an inspiring Christian ministry experience that allowed us students to share faith, friendship and service. We visited two local schools, spending time with students through worship, games and classroom activities, building genuine connections grounded in God’s love. Our group also visited villages, where we were warmly welcomed with heart warming songs and traditional dances and witnessed the deep sense of community and faith within Fijian life. Through prayer, reflection, and shared experinces, we grew spiritually closer to God and personally, gaining a renewed appreciation for gratitude, humility and the power of serving others in Christ. | ALERA T. 11N
