Principal's Message

Mr Daniel O'Malley | Interim Principal

Dear King’s College Community,

As we head into the second half of Term 4, I’ve been reflecting on one of our core school values — Honour. It’s a word that carries great weight in the life of a Christian school. To honour means to show respect, to give value, and to live in a way that reflects God’s heart.

At The King’s College, we strive to honour God in all that we do — in the classroom, on the sporting field, in our friendships and in the way we serve others. We also honour our families for the love and support they give, and we honour one another as we learn and grow together.

It’s been a full and exciting term already! Earlier this term, we farewelled our Year 12 students with a wonderful Soiree and Graduation Celebration Evening. Both events were fitting celebrations of their hard work, friendships, and journeys. We continue to pray for our graduates as they sit their WACE exams and take their next steps beyond The King’s College.

Our Year 7 students also had a fantastic time at their Busselton Camp. It was a week filled with laughter, team-building and new memories — a great example of how learning extends well beyond the classroom.

We recently celebrated World Teachers’ Day, and I want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff. Their dedication, creativity and care for our students reflect the heart of teaching.

Finally, thank you to all the families who joined us for The King’s Celebration Sunday with The King’s Chapel. It was a special time of worship and community, and I was especially proud of our student worship team for leading so beautifully.

As we move through these final weeks of the year — with exams, activities and celebrations still ahead — let’s continue to be a community that lives out honour in all we do.

Blessings,

Daniel O’Malley
