Year 3/4

Hi parents and families, 

It’s been a great start to Term 4, with the students settling beautifully into their final term of the year. We’ve finished our class novel Charlotte’s Web — and for anyone who knows the story, it was certainly a tear-jerker! Alongside this, we wrapped up our topic on narrative writing and began our new class novel, The One and Only Ivan. This links perfectly with our new writing focus on persuasive letters, which students have started exploring this week. 

In Mathematics, we’ve been learning about data — conducting surveys, making observations, interpreting results, and graphing our findings. 

We’ve also been busy preparing for our Arts Evening next week, with students contributing both individual creations and a large collaborative class display. The excitement is definitely building!
