Welcome Back!

We hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable holiday break. It’s great to see all of the students returning with energy and enthusiasm, ready to take on the exciting challenges ahead!

Our Prep Transition sessions have been underway, helping our youngest learners settle into school life smoothly. Year 6 students are playing a special role by acting as buddies and mentors, showing great leadership and kindness. It’s fantastic to see the older students supporting our new Preps as they begin their school journey.

This term, Year 6 students are diving into fascinating scientific concepts! We’re exploring forces and motion, conducting hands-on experiments to understand gravity, friction, and how different forces affect movement. The students have been actively engaged, making predictions and recording observations like little scientists.

Our Year 6 sports teams have been training hard for the upcoming competitions. The division matches are a great opportunity for students to develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and skills across a range of sports including soccer, netball, and basketball. Keep an eye out for fixtures and come along to support our teams!

Congratulations to all the students who have qualified for the regional athletics meet! This is a fantastic achievement, and we are proud of your dedication and effort. The regionals will be held next month, and we wish all participants the very best as they compete against schools from across the district.

As we move through this term, we’re excited to see all students grow both academically and personally. With so many opportunities ahead - from science discoveries to sporting achievements - there’s plenty to look forward to. Let’s keep supporting each other and making this a fantastic year!

Thank you for being part of our school community. If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
