3E

In Term Four, students in 3E have been exploring climate change and its impact on people through our Inquiry unit, “How do natural disasters impact people differently?”

We began by learning about the differences between weather and climate. Students shared their ideas, created detailed diagrams, and used real-life examples to show their understanding. We also investigated various natural disasters such as floods, bushfires, cyclones, and tsunamis. Through research and discussions, we explored how these events are influenced by changes in weather and climate, and how people around the world are affected and respond to them.

Fatima- I liked how we went outside to draw and explore weather.

Evin- This term I learned that natural disasters include tsunamis. I found out what a typhoon is and how it works.

Kiara- In Inquiry, I really loved how we got to discuss and do fun things like making posters. It is really fun!

Ved- I enjoyed creating posters and learning about natural disasters, like what they are and how they happen.
