Big Term Ahead
Term 4 is always a busy and exciting time at St Peter’s. We look forward to sending our Year 6 students off to secondary school while also welcoming our new Foundation students for 2026. This term is also a time of preparation for all students as they begin to think about their classes and teachers for next year.
Change can be exciting, but it can also bring a few nerves. Our role at St Peter’s is to help students feel confident and supported as they prepare for the year ahead. We remind students that they already know how to be successful at school—they understand routines, learning, and how to work with others. While some things may change next year, they have all the skills they need to thrive.
Big Question
This week, we continue our Big Question: “What is a Classroom Routine?” Classroom routines help students understand what to do, when to do it, and what teachers expect. When students are familiar with routines, they don’t have to think about what to do—they just know. Revisiting this question at the start of each term helps students settle quickly into their learning.
Stage 2 Master Plan – Builder Appointed
We are excited to announce that Whelan Master Builders have been appointed to construct Stage 2 of our Master Plan.
As a reminder, last year we were successful in obtaining State funding to move forward with Stage 2, which will see significant improvements to our school facilities. This stage includes renovations to all Year 3/4 classrooms and our Prep classrooms, as well as the addition of new spaces, including a toilet near our Djak Tjarra (Enviro) area.
Whelan Master Builders, who were selected in 2023 after a thorough process for Stage 1, will begin work on-site this week, starting with the Year 3/4 classrooms and the toilet facilities near the Knuldoorong. We look forward to seeing the exciting progress and the positive impact these improvements will have for our students and school community.

Prayer for the Week
Loving God,
We thank You for the gift of our families and the joy that children bring into our lives.
Help us to cherish and nurture each little one, remembering how precious they are and how quickly they grow.
Guide us to show love, patience, and care in all that we do, and help our children to feel safe, valued, and special every day.
Bless our families and school community with happiness, health, and strong bonds of love.
Amen.
God Bless,
