Ryan’s Rambling

Dear Families,

The end of the term has arrived and I couldn’t be prouder of our amazing students and all they have achieved.

At our Values Assembly this morning, we celebrated the incredible efforts and merits of four of our students. It was hard not to be inspired by the words being read out by our staff at the assembly; we really do have truly remarkable students at our school. Congratulations to Luca, Henry, Olivia and Scarlett. All four of you have continued to model and epitomise our School Values of Respect and Care, Responsibility, Inclusion, Tolerance and Understanding, and Excellence.

Also, at our Values Assembly, our Student Leaders reflected on the last eleven weeks of learning and fun. Our students certainly have had an incredibly busy term!  Some of the highlights have been:

Ecolinc Excursions

Earth Ed Excursions

ANZAC Day

Minibeast Parade

Henry Penny Chicks

Melbourne Museum Excursion

Winter Sports

Student Leadership Conference

Werribee Zoo Excursion

Botanikids Excursion

Japanese Day

…and much more!

It’s no wonder that our students (and staff) are showing a few signs of fatigue! I am incredibly proud of our school and all we have managed to achieve in the last six months.

Of course, this is not possible without the incredible collective efforts from our amazing community. I heartfeltly thank our dedicated staff for their support, care and diligence in supporting the learning and wellbeing needs of our students. I also wish to extend my thanks to our amazing parent community, for all your support, tolerance and faith in our school.

As we look ahead to the holidays, I encourage everyone to take this opportunity to slow down and truly connect. These breaks are more than just time away from school—they’re a chance to reset and nurture our wellbeing.

Whether it’s sharing a meal, going for a walk, enjoying a screen-free evening together, or simply having a conversation without rushing—these small moments of connection can have a big impact. It’s also important to let children rest, play, and recharge without pressure. A healthy balance of rest, fun, and family time helps set the foundation for a positive return next term.

I do hope you’re able to carve out some downtime over the next couple of weeks. May it be filled with connection, laughter, and the simple joy of being together.

See you all next term.

Ryan 😊
