The team at FN Roper & Jones (Mangaturoto) recently celebrated a very special milestone for a valued member of the office. Happy 87th birthday, Gary Morris!
Haylie Gargin from FN Collective (Taranaki) embraced Matariki and her long weekend. It included a work dinner, a lunch date with her favourites, hockey in the rain, and a visit to the Festival of Lights pop-up. She also made time to enjoy the outdoors, with scenic walks from Te Rewa Rewa Bridge to the Wind Wand and around the stunning Lake Mangamahoe.
Adele Barker, from FN Waitakere, made the most of the Matariki long weekend with hours of bike rides, beach visits, and plenty of fresh air. Omaha Beach provided the perfect backdrop for a weekend of relaxation and adventure.
Kelly Baldwin, FN Collective (Taranaki) enjoyed her Matariki weekend in the Bay, revisiting familiar places and meeting new family on her father's side, a sister and brother she’s excited to build new memories with.
What better way to mark the shortest day than with a quick dip in the ocean? Jane Mather, from FN Collective (Tawa), braved the chill, 3 degrees with wind chill, for a refreshing swim, all under the glow of a stunning rainbow. Now that’s commitment to making winter magic!
Karla Evans, FN Surf to City (Riverton) continues her trip of a lifetime with an epic sight, hot air balloons filling the sky on her way back to the airport. A standout highlight was catching up with her sisters and their blokes over a few beers, while unexpected tram hiccups turned into laughs and connections with fellow travellers. Turkey is delivering unforgettable moments at every turn. Next up is the cruise on NCL with stops including Croatia’s Split and Dubrovnik, the historic streets of Athens, and the whitewashed charm of Mykonos.
Josh Tararo, from FN Collective (Tawa) is soaking up the beauty of the Cook Islands, embracing the laid-back island life with his whānau. The kids are doing their best, though the cold showers are a tough sell, but they’ve already found their favourite spot: the local ice cream shop.
