ICCES Winter Tour

Next week we have three netball teams (junior, intermediate and senior girls) and an open mixed hockey team travelling to Shepparton to compete in the ICCES Winter Tour.  

Good luck to all players and thank you Miss Dixon, Mrs Malseed, Mrs Hausler, Dr Hawthorne, and Gappers Rosie and Honor for coaching the supporting the teams. 

Men's Hockey

The College men’s team came up against the Rams on Sunday for the first time since the final last year. A goal scored early by Charlie Hawthorne with a sensational dragflick, and another scored in the third quarter by Jack Jarvis, put the boys on top for a 2-1 victory.

Fullbacks Mr Nelson, Mark Jarvis and Harry Brown all held the backline well, backing up mistakes made by the forwards and midfielders and only allowing one goal through from the Rams. The forward line created many chances but unfortunately were only able to put two over the line.

The boys play the Couldabeens for the second time of the season on Sunday night. With much to work on at training, hopefully we can return to the intensity we played with at the beginning of the season.

Under 14B Basketball Girls

The HBA are on the lookout for some additional players to fill our U14B girls squad team.

Players must be born in 2013-2014 to be eligible.
