Thank You for Joining Our Term 2 Celebration of Learning!
A big thank you to all the parents and families who visited our classrooms yesterday for our Term 2 Celebration of Learning. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to proudly share the writing they’ve worked so hard on throughout the term.
These moments of connection between home and school are incredibly valuable—not only do they celebrate student achievement, but they also help build confidence and pride in learning. Our students should be very proud of their efforts!
Photos from the Celebration of Learning will be shared in this week’s newsletter and via Seesaw.

Foundation (Prep) 2026 Enrolments and Transition
Enrolments for Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Deer Park West Primary School are now open!
Starting school is a big milestone in a child’s life, and we are here to support families every step of the way. At Deer Park West Primary, we are proud to offer a welcoming, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive.
As we prepare to welcome our 2026 Foundation students, we’re also continuing our strong partnerships with local kindergartens to ensure a smooth and positive transition to school. We’re working with kinder teachers to plan visits, share helpful information, and help children feel confident and excited about starting school.
We’ll be inviting kinder groups to visit our school later this term and into Term 3, giving children the chance to get familiar with our learning spaces and meet some friendly faces.
If you have a child starting school next year, or know someone who does, please contact our school office for more information about the enrolment process. We’re here to help make this transition a positive experience for every child and family.
Kind regards,
Joshua Fielding
