Celebrations of Learning – Strengthening Connections through writing

This week, we were thrilled to welcome parents into our classrooms for the termly Celebrations of Learning focused on student writing. Families had the opportunity to engage directly their children’s work and share or complete a writing task.

These moments reaffirm the powerful impact of strong community connections between students, teachers and families. When parents are actively involved in the learning journey, students feel supported, motivated, and proud of their progress. Together, we create a shared culture of learning - on that values curiosity, communication and celebration.

Thank you to all the families who attended and made this experience so special. Families will have more opportunities to engage with the school through excursions and the Foundation Afternoon Tea where they will once again perform for families. Please be on time to the Foundation Afternoon Tea, as students are performing at the start of the session.

Year 5 Beach Camp Adventure

Our Year Five students are having an unforgettable time on their very first beach camp! The excitement was sky-high as they set off for the camp and the fun has not stopped.

From exploring fascinating rook pools to spending quality time together outdoors, the students have embraced every moment with energy and enthusiasm.

For many, it is their first time away from home and they are doing very well, as reflected in their smiling faces.

I know some of the parents were feeling apprehensive about their children being away with out them, but I know that you appreciate the wonderful opportunity to be independent and look after themselves in a safe, supportive and beautiful environment.
