Update From Helen:

  1.  Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share a quick update.

On Thursday, I had my very first chemotherapy session – it was a long 6-hour day, but I made it through. Then on Friday, I had my first immunotherapy treatment. It took two tries and a bit of hunting to find a vein (ouch!), but we got there in the end.

Thank you all so much for the ongoing love, kindness, and support. I truly can’t express how much it means to me – it’s been a real source of strength during this time.

    With love and gratitude,

    Helen 🌸

  2. Hi everyone,

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your generous donations, kind messages, and unwavering support. Your love and encouragement mean more than words can express.

I have finished up work for the term, so I can take the time I need to rest and recover as I continue with my treatment. This journey so far has been incredibly challenging, but knowing I have such a wonderful community behind me is truly uplifting. Your support—whether it’s been through a kind word, a donation, or simply keeping me in your thoughts—has helped carry me through the tougher days.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with me. Your kindness is making a real difference.

With gratitude,

Helen 💛

Mrs Ruby Yates is one of two teachers taking over from Helen in room 15 this term.

A photo of Mrs Harpreet Kaur to follow later in the week.

Both teachers are awesome, and the children in room 15 are in great hands until Helen's return.
