NEW Resource for Student and Parents – TCE Achievement Checklist

TASC has created a new resource, the TCE Achievement Checklist, to help students plan how to achieve the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE). Students are encouraged to use this checklist during course counselling (noting that achieving the TCE is one of the requirements for ATAR eligibility).

The Checklist recommends students use the TCE Course Planner to check that their senior secondary study choices will help them to achieve the TCE.

Tips for using the TCE Course Planner

  • You can use the Planner's filter options to easily generate lists of courses by level (e.g. Level 2, Level 3, Certificate II) and type (e.g. TASC, VET, UCP/HAPRFL).
  • The TCE Course Planner - VET page provides step-by-step information about how to use the ‘VET Units’ tab to add each of a student's VET Units into the Planner.
  • You can use the TCE Course Planner filters to generate lists of courses that offer one or more of the TCE Everyday Adult Standards upon successful completion (achieving an award of ‘Satisfactory Achievement’ or higher). Courses that offer the Standards are also listed on a single page at Everyday Adult Standard Courses.
