House Colours Day

Unfortunately the cold weather and potential rain meant that the outdoor activities planned for the house colours day yesterday had to be changed. Instead, they were replaced with replaced with fun and interactive indoor activities that all students were involved with that still contributed to house points for participation.
Across the school all were involved in designing and making a paper plane to then participate in a class challenge to find out whose plane could fly the furthest. The winner from each class will now represent their class in a final to be held to determine the overall whole school paper plane champion.
Students also designed their ultimate house team uniform thinking about bold colours and logos that could be used to demonstrate team spirit and our school values. There were some outstanding designs - who knows we may have some graphic designers in the making.
There was also a coffee van and donuts available for family members who came to be involved. Although the morning was different to what was originally planned the students showed a lot of enjoyment participating in the activities. Thank you to those families who were able to come and support the morning.
