3D Print a Car Qualifiers

Throughout the year, a select group of Year 4 and 5 students have taken part in preparing for the 3D Print a Car Challenge. Students were required to plan, design, 3D print and test their own cars, working collaboratively throughout the process. They carefully documented their design journey, making improvements and refining their cars through testing to make them as fast as possible, while adhering to the strict guidelines and requirements set by the competition.

Last Friday, the students attended Quantum Victoria for the qualifiers race day. The cars shot down the track at lightning pace, powered by a small carbon dioxide canister that was punctured once a button was pressed. The students should be proud of their efforts and for representing the school well on the day!
