Student Achievement

We are incredibly proud of Angelo and his dedication to his cello. At just six years old, Angelo was the youngest performer at the Special Venue Music Awards held last month at Carnegie Hall in New York. He had the honour of presenting our national anthem, "Advance Australia Fair," to an audience hearing it for the first time. Beyond the cello, Angelo is also learning to play the piano and is already composing his own music. A truly talented young Aussie with a bright musical future ahead!

Congratulations to Harry R from Sea 3, who has been selected to represent Gordon Districts in the Under 10s Rugby State Championships! This is an impressive achievement, especially considering Harry is technically in the Under 9s age group. Harry’s hard work and determination are inspiring, and we wish him all the best at the championships!

The Taekwondo NSW State Championships 2026 were held at the Whitlam Leisure Centre, featuring a proud group of CPS students from Chung Do Taekwondo Chatswood. After months of dedicated training, our students competed against participants from across NSW, achieving numerous medals in sparring and poomsae across various age divisions and belt levels.

Our students’ outstanding individual performances and impressive medal achievements were central to Chung Do Taekwondo Chatswood finishing first on the club leaderboard at this year’s championships.

Competitors who finished in a medal position have also qualified for the National Championships in their respective events, age divisions, and belt levels. This year's National Championships will be held in Canberra in October.

Congratulations to all CPS students for their dedication and success. We wish our qualifiers every success as they prepare for the Nationals.

Supporting Communities in Crisis: Spotlight on Venezuela

One of our families has reached out to us as their daughter is currently working on the front lines with a brigade of senior medical students assisting families affected by the earthquake. They have asked if we could kindly share the images that capture a small glimpse of the work that they are doing and the registered Australian humanitarian networks.
