🏆 Gold Token Reward Session

Our Gold Token recipients enjoyed a well-deserved reward session this week! Students had lots of fun getting creative as they decorated delicious biscuits, made colourful fairy bread and mixed up their own sherbet treats. It was wonderful to see the students enjoying time together, celebrating their positive choices and being recognised for their fantastic efforts.

🌟 SEL - Term 3 Wrap-Up

Term 3 has been a wonderful term of Social and Emotional Learning at Edgeworth PS, with students developing their understanding of regulation and resilience and building a shared language to help them understand themselves and others.

Throughout the term, students explored how our brains and bodies respond to different situations, recognising signs of regulation and dysregulation and learning strategies to help them return to a calm, connected and ready-to-learn state. Students also explored resilience, learning that challenges and setbacks are a normal part of life and that we can develop strategies to persevere, seek support and bounce back.

Our SEL-ebration Day provided a fantastic opportunity to bring this learning together. Students revisited key concepts including the Hand Model of the Brain, regulation and being respons-able, while working collaboratively with students across K–6. It was a wonderful day of learning, connection and celebration!

We are incredibly proud of the way our students have embraced SEL this term and are continuing to develop the skills and understanding to support their wellbeing, relationships and learning.
