What an Incredible Term 3!
As we come to the end of Term 3, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our students, staff, families and wider school community for another incredible term. It has been a busy and rewarding term, filled with learning, achievements, special events and many opportunities for our students to grow and shine.
A huge thank you to our dedicated staff for the care, commitment and energy you continue to bring to our school each day. Your work makes such a positive difference to the lives of our students and is truly appreciated.
I hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break over the holidays. Please take the opportunity to rest, recharge and spend quality time with family and friends. Stay safe, enjoy the sunshine and make the most of the break!

Working Bee – Saturday 17 October
We are inviting all our parents and carers to come together for a Working Bee on Saturday 17 October 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to work together to improve and enhance our school grounds for our students.
Whether you can stay for the whole morning or lend a hand for a short time, every contribution will make a difference. We look forward to coming together as a community, getting our hands dirty and creating an even better environment for our students to learn, play and connect.

A Gift from Year 6 2025
A big thank you to our Year 6 students of 2025 for their wonderful end-of-year gift to our school, a new bubbler near the back oval, which was installed a couple of weeks ago. This thoughtful addition is already proving to be highly valued by our students, particularly as the weather gets warmer. We are grateful for the lasting contribution Year 6 has made to our school and know this practical resource will be enjoyed by students for years to come!
Year 5 - Great Aussie Bush Camp
Our Year 5 students had an amazing time at Great Aussie Bush Camp! They embraced new challenges, worked together as a team and showed fantastic resilience and determination throughout the camp. A wonderful experience filled with adventure, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime!
A huge thank you to our dedicated staff, Mrs Deb Chapman, Mrs Keira Johnson, Mrs Bec Baird, Mr Zac Morton and Mrs Shannon Walton who attended the camp and supported our students throughout this wonderful experience. Your time, care and commitment are greatly appreciated!
Year 3 and 4 Excursion to Botanical Gardens
Year 3 and 4 students visited the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens and connect their classroom learning with the natural environment.
Students participated in a guided tour of the gardens, where they explored a range of plants and learned more about the different parts of flowers and leaves. They were able to ask questions and make connections to the scientific concepts they have been exploring in class.
A highlight was walking around the incredible Cactus and Succulent garden area.
Students also took part in a Koori Walk, learning about the traditional uses of native plants and trees and how Aboriginal peoples have sustainably used and cared for these resources over generations.
This provided a valuable connection to their Geography learning around sustainability and conservation. Students embraced the opportunity to discover new facts, ask questions and apply their classroom learning to a real-world environment.
