Parent Club News

Welcome everyone to a new school year.
During the year you will find information about various fundraising activities and opportunities to participate in the Spring Gully Parents Club here.
To start, we will be holding our AGM, which is scheduled for Friday the 21st of February, at 2pm, in the administration building. We’d love to encourage anyone who would like to get involved to come along and join us, the more the merrier. If you’d like to get involved, but are unable to attend the meeting, please make yourself known to your child’s classroom teacher or email Kellie Schajermann on kellie.schajermann@gmail.com
We welcome your involvement in any capacity you can offer. All time and contributions are greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to a fun filled, fantastic year, with lots of successful fundraising to support our school and students to ‘Be Awesome’.
Fundraising
We have again added the Tesselaar bulb fundraiser to our schedule as our first fundraisers for the year. This is a wonderful fundraising opportunity that we can get our wider community involved in. Information has been sent home with your child this week, so please keep an eye out in your child’s school bag. We ask that you share the details with your garden loving family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and acquaintances to maximize our fundraising potential. Our school will receive 40% from each order, with all orders being sent directly to the buyer, so there is no need for collecting or distributing orders.
In term one we will also run our annual Easter raffle. The Easter raffle is always a wonderful success for our school, with tickets to again be sent home in your child’s school bag in the coming weeks. The raffle is drawn on the last day of term one at the Easter Hat Parade. We will provide further information regarding the raffle and other fundraising opportunities in future newsletters.
We thank you for your contribution and support of our fundraising opportunities and events for our wonderful school.
Fruit Friday
We are very grateful for the ongoing support offered by the McKern Foundation, who generously supply our fruit for Fresh Fruit Friday every week. Fresh Fruit Friday preparations take place in the staff room from 8:45am. This is a wonderful opportunity to make new connections with other parents. New volunteers are always welcome and appreciated.
