Farewell & Thank you!

As my time as Director of Religious Education and Mission at Brigidine College comes to an end, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude on the journey we have shared together. It has been an extraordinary privilege to walk alongside you, a community that so wholeheartedly embodies the Charism of St Brigid and strives for excellence in all aspects of our shared mission.

I must commend my remarkable Religious Education team. Thank you for your tireless pursuit of rigour and beauty in our curriculum. Together, we have reimagined what is possible in Religious Education, crafting learning experiences that inspire our students to think deeply, grow spiritually, and engage meaningfully with their faith. Your commitment to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine connection to the Gospel message has been a source of inspiration.

I extend special thanks to our Principal, Mrs Sharyn Quirk, whose unwavering dedication to the Charism and Mission of our College has been nothing short of extraordinary. Sharyn, you embody the spirit of St Brigid in all you do, radiating compassion, wisdom, and strength. You have championed our values and nurtured our community with a grace that will leave a lasting legacy.

To the entire school community, thank you for embracing the Brigidine Charism with open hearts and active hands. The way you live out the pillars of St Brigid is a testament to the enduring influence of our shared heritage. Whether through masses, liturgies, retreats or your enthusiastic participation in social justice and charity initiatives, you have brought the Gospel to life in ways that have left a profound impact.

I leave with a heart full of gratitude and joy. 

May St Brigid continue to guide and inspire you all, and may the light of Christ shine brightly in all that you do.
