Dear Sacred Heart Community

 

The end of each school year is tinged with mixed emotions, excitement about the holidays and a new school year with all its promises, is intertwined with farewelling students, families and staff, who are embarking on the next stage of their life journey. To our Year Six students, thank you for the way you have embraced life at Sacred Heart School. Thank you for your contributions to our school during your time here. Thank you for the leadership you have displayed this year, and the great role models you have been to our younger students. I would like to wish you every happiness, well being and success, as you enter the next very exciting stage of your life journey.

 

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the following families who have their last child departing our school this year. Thank you for the trust you have placed in our school, support and willingness to work with us. We also wish you every success and happiness for the future.

Can I also wish our students who are leaving our school at the end of this year every success and happiness. To Pablo, Bruno (hopefully we will see you again when you return from Brazil), Ruan, Chris and Eva thank you for being such great Sacred Heart people.

 

Families will be able to access their child's report tomorrow from approximately 12.00pm.

 

Our students will meet their 2025 classroom teacher/s on Tuesday morning during a transition session. All parents and guardians will receive a letter on Tuesday notifying them of their child's teacher and the class structure for the 2025 school year.

We welcome Giulia Mazzarella back to Sacred Heart. Giulia was a member of our staff in 2022 and 2023. We also welcome Deborah Richardson onto our staff. You will all know Deb as one of our regular emergency teachers. Like Giulia, Deb knows our students and staff well. We are excited to have these two passionate teachers joining us in 2025.  

 

A  reminder that Christmas Carols have been postponed to Tuesday as per the poster below.

 

Finally I would like to wish you all a peaceful and happy holiday period. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all on the first day of the 2025 school year Wednesday 29th January.
