On Wednesday, December 4th, Langwarrin Park Primary School hosted its much-loved Annual Christmas Sing-Along, a heartwarming evening that brought together students, families, and staff in the spirit of the holiday season. The event, held on the school oval, was a resounding success, filling the air with festive music, laughter, and a true sense of Christmas joy.
The Sing-Along, which has become a treasured tradition at Langwarrin Park Primary, featured students from all year levels, each group showcasing their hard work and enthusiasm. The performances ranged from beloved traditional Christmas carols to more modern holiday hits.
It was truly wonderful to see so many parents, carers, and family members joining in the singing, The sense of togetherness was palpable, as the school community came together to celebrate this special time of year.
A major highlight of the evening was the surprise arrival of Santa Claus, who made a grand entrance aboard a fire truck, much to the delight of the children and families in attendance. The excitement on the faces of the students as Santa waved to the crowd was a magical moment that added an extra layer of holiday cheer to the event.
The evening wouldn’t have been the same without the generous contributions from our school families. A huge thank you goes to all the families who donated Zooper Doopers, which were handed out during the Sing-Along to keep everyone refreshed and cool. Your generosity helped make this event even more enjoyable for all.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Langwarrin CFA for their support of the event. Their team attended in full force, and their presence truly added to the festive spirit. We are incredibly grateful for the CFA’s ongoing support and their commitment to our school community.
A big thank you to Bluey and Mrs. Hoppers for their outstanding efforts in setting up and managing traffic on the night. We also appreciate Mel Schmidt and her team for their valuable assistance. Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to the rest of the LPPS team for staying back after hours to help ensure everything ran smoothly. Your hard work and dedication made this event possible!
As we reflect on this year’s Christmas Sing-Along, we are filled with gratitude for the amazing students, families, and staff who made it such a memorable evening. This event continues to be a reminder of the strength of our school community, and we are already looking forward to next year’s celebration.
We wish all our families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we can’t wait to welcome you back in 2025 for another Sing-Along!
