From the Principal
Welcome Back:
Welcome back to another school year as part of this beautiful school community. I hope you all managed to have a wonderful Christmas and celebrated the new year in style. This holiday period felt extra long and I am certainly rested and ready to take on the new school year.
We have many new faces around the school, those new to our community will have a special little welcome at next week's assembly. Just a reminder for our new Prep families, that Wednesday's are rest days for our Prep students until after Labour Day.
Please see below some information about the Jubilee Year in the Catholic Church. Pope Francis has declared 2025 the Year of Hope. It will be a celebration year across the church. Myself, along with some other Principal's in our Outer East Network will make the journey to Rome in September to Visit the Basilica in Rome. I will share more about the trip throughout the year.
Jubilee Year:
Thank you Woolies!
Late last Year our School Captains Issy and Liam presented staff from Woolies with a thank you poster for their donations to our school in 2024. We are so lucky that the team at Woolworths in Belgrave are very generous with their donations to our school.

School Library:
Just a note for all families, our school library will be open every Tuesday and Thursday after school for students to borrow books. We ask that they are supervised by an adult during this time. Ms Auld will be in the library during these times to help with borrowing and returning of books.
Operoo and School Stream:
Please make sure you check Operoo and School Stream regularly as early in the year there often is a flurry of information that is important for families to be aware of.
Assembly:
The first assembly of the year will be held at 2:30pm on Monday 3rd of February in the School Library.
Sexuality Education:
We are delighted to be once again partnering with Sue Pain from "About Real Life". Sue will deliver age appropriate Sexuality Education for our students in partnership with families. There will be a Parent Only workshop on Thursday 13th of February via Zoom (a link will be shared). The following Thursday (20th) we will hold Parent and Child workshops here at school. More information can be found below and this will also be shared via Operoo.
