Dear Parents and Friends of St Brendan’s,

Welcome to the 2025 school year at St Brendan’s.

We are thrilled to see our Foundation students settle in so seamlessly, bringing a sense of joy and excitement to our school community. Our students are happy and motivated, and the staff is equally positive, eager to embark on another year of excellence and equity for all.

This year, we are focusing on our theme: “Leading and Learning with Teamwork and Kindness.” We believe this will guide us in creating an environment where collaboration, respect, and empathy thrive.

We are also delighted to welcome Finn P in Year 1/2F and Jett D in Year 5/6V and their families to St Brendan’s. Alongside them, we welcome Miss Jaqui Fraser to the Year 1/2 team, and we are excited to introduce Mrs Sarah Besley, Miss Abbie Congreve, and Mrs Jane Munns to our Learning Support Team. We are confident that their expertise and dedication will further enhance our supportive learning environment.

Together, as a school community, we look forward to a year that is not only productive but also enriching for both students and staff. We are excited to partner with you in nurturing and supporting your children as they grow and thrive.

We’re excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for our newly appointed House Captains to take the lead! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of multi-aged tabloid sports activities, where our captains will guide teams through engaging and team building challenges.

This event is open to all parents, carers, and friends – everyone is welcome to come and cheer on our students. Parents of Foundation students, you will be notified of your child’s house colour very soon.
