Year 1 & 2

In Year 1/2, students have had an enthusiastic return to school for Term 2. 

In Reading lessons, students have continued UFLI phonics, practising their reading and spelling skills. Students have read a book as a class about ANZAC Day and made poppies and flags.

In Maths lessons, Year 1 students have been continuing to practise their counting skills. Year 2 students have been learning about fractions. Students have also been practising their doubling facts. 

For Writing lessons, students have written a recount about the holidays. They have started learning about Information Reports and the features of non-fiction texts.

For Wellbeing lessons, students have continued Friendology lessons, learning about ways to make new friends. 

In Integrated Studies lessons, students have been learning about ANZAC Day. 

Celebrating our Students

Students are nominated by their teachers to receive a certificate of acknowledgment. The below students' certificates will be presented at our next assembly.
