Following some feedback and inspiration from other principals, I will be working in some more public spaces at various times during Term Two. Parents and caregivers may especially see me in the front office at times and I look forward to saying hello!
This weekend, we give thanks for the incredible mothers, mother figures, and special people who love, support, and nurture us. Mother’s Day is a meaningful time to reflect on these important relationships and the many ways they shape our lives. We hope all the special women in our community a beautiful weekend.
We are also looking forward to welcoming many of you to our Mother's Day High Tea this Friday afternoon. This special event is a wonderful opportunity to gather, celebrate, and connect with one another as a school community.
A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff and volunteers who helped make our Mother's Day Stall such a success. The children thoroughly enjoyed choosing gifts for their special people, and it was lovely to see their excitement as they carefully selected something meaningful. Your time and support are truly appreciated.
As we look ahead to more community events this term, we would love to welcome more volunteers to get involved. If you’re interested in getting involved, please keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities or get in touch with the front office. We are grateful for the many hands and hearts that help make our community strong.
Last week, our Reception classes hosted their own heartwarming celebration by inviting a special person to join them in their classroom. The morning was filled with smiles, fairy bread, and then cups of tea and coffee. It was a lovely and meaningful way to honour the important people in our youngest learners’ lives. Thank you to the Reception Team for organising and everyone who joined us for this time of connection.
