Hi everyone,

I hope you all had an amazing holiday, and this term has had a wonderful start. During the past week, we have had some exciting events that took place, from productive learning in the classroom to competitive sports. We had a lot of great events that happened over these two weeks. Grade 6 is gearing up for their exciting winter school sports, and spirits are high as everyone prepares to give their best. Let’s cheer them on and hope for some well-deserved victories!

Recently, we celebrated Cultural Diversity Week, a highlight of our school calendar. Students proudly wore traditional clothing that represented their culture, and the environment was filled with colour, pride, and joy. The assembly was especially memorable, featuring amazing dances that showcased cultural diversity.

Our photo days is coming very soon and I hope every student can come with a giant smile and dressed in uniform.

Construction on our brand-new Year 6 playground is capturing everyone’s interest. Each day brings visible progress, and this is a facility we all look forward to enjoying. Fingers crossed it will be completed very soon!

Our school recently underwent a CIS review. We welcomed two visitors, Michael and Helena. Michael is an assistant principal from Vietnam, and Helena works for the CIS. They spent time observing our learning environment and speaking with students, parents and staff. Their visit will help us grow even stronger, as a school, and we are excited to receive their feedback.

Finally, every class is now working with a buddy from another class, and we got to share our Cultural Diversity Week posters with them. We had so much fun spending time with another class.

Wow! There are a lot of things happening this term. Thank you for reading this newsletter, and I hope you have a great term.
