YEAR 5&6 WINTER SPORT 

We’ve had a fantastic first two rounds of Winter Sport so far, with the fabulous weather really making it all that more enjoyable for everyone involved!  A special thank you to the supporting parents over the past two weeks; it's been wonderful to have this team support and umpiring assistance for our teams.  Our players are enjoying the chance to mix with their school peers and their skills and game-play are already seeing big improvements!  Here’s this week’s game details:

ROUND 3 GAME DETAILS: Fri.K 16th May 

* FOOTBALLERS:  MUST bring a mouthguard – no mouthguard, no play

*GAMES PLAYED: approx. 1.00pm – 2.30pm.

HOME GAMES:  St Finbar’s 1 vs St. Joan of Arc 2:

Football:   Hurlingham Oval #1 (bigger oval), Nepean Hwy, Brighton East. (Mr Tyndall)

Netball:  St. Finbar’s school courts.  (Miss Happell).

Footballers to be picked up by SJA at approx.  12.45pm, return to school by 2.50pm.

AWAY GAMES:  St Joseph’s Malvern  vs  St. Finbar’s 2: 

Football: Ferrie Oval, Kooyong - in Sir Zelman Cowan Park.  (Mrs Thompson)   

Netball: St. Joseph’s PS, Stanhope St. Malvern.  (Miss Bourke)

To depart at 12.25pm by bus. Return by 3.25pm

JNR & SNR HOOPTIME UPDATES

New date for our Junior HoopTime tournament:  Tues. 16th September @ Nunawading.

Our Junior (Yr. 3&4) HoopTime teams were announced last week.  It’s never an easy task to select these teams, with so many trying out and having the depth of talent we have.  Congratulations to all students that did try out, and we look forward to a great day of games come September for these six teams.

Our Senior (Yr. 5&6) students have signed up for their tryouts this week.  Trials will be held over the next couple of weeks (avoiding Production rehearsal times).  This Senior HoopTime tournament is set for Monday 30th of June @Waverley stadium (Week 11 of this term).
