International Year of Peace and Trust
The United Nations has designated 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust. For Quakers, peace is so much more than an absence of war. Our silent worship and search for that of God in everyone are ways of ensuring that love and respect for all people are an integral part of our daily lives. Our weekly queries and quotes this term will further explore peace - inner peace, peace in our personal relationships, peace in our school and local community and peace around the world. These have been gathered from a number of different Friends Schools and Quaker communities.
More information about the UN International Year of Peace and Trust is available here.

Term 2 Co-curricular Information
At The Friends’ School, we are proud to offer a rich and diverse co-curricular program that complements our formal curriculum and enhances students' educational experiences from Kindergarten to Year 12.
With activities spanning Sport, Music, Service and Enrichment, we encourage every student to explore their interests and talents. Participation fosters skills, values, and connections that support holistic development.
View the co-curricular opportunities for Term 2 in the online handbook here, noting that some activities have already commenced and the sport sign ups have now closed (information was sent separately on these).
