HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy birthday to the students and staff that celebrated their birthday in Week's 5 and 6 of term: Lylah Gerlofsma, Angus Falconer, Sophia McLeod, Scarlett Key, Ashton Barrett, Mrs Fletcher, Mrs McCarthy, Mrs Tarrant.

CONDOLENCES

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sidney Cheers, Alice and Georgie Meyer and their families who have lost their great grandmother Margaret Smith and with Ellie Brummell and her family of her great grandmother Norma Brummell. 

We also send much love to Miss McMeniman and her family after her grandmother passed away.

WELCOME

This week the students of St Joseph's were pleased to welcome Naysha to the Kinder class. We hope Naysha enjoys her stay here at St Joseph's.

SUPERVISION

You are reminded that supervision at school does not start until 8:40 am and concludes at 3:30 pm. Please ensure your child/ren are picked up by this time. Students are not to be on school grounds outside of these times.

EXTRA FOOD FOR STUDENTS

As the weather changes the students are becoming more active again which seems to be making them hungrier. Could you please ensure that you pack enough food for your child to get through the day. The office does have frozen vegemite or jam sandwiches for emergencies. 

ILLNESSES AND UNWELL CHILDREN

At the moment there are some children with vomiting, headaches, coughs, sore throats and runny noses who are still attending school. 

Just a reminder that if your child is unwell please do not send them to school. Illnesses are spread easily between children and on to staff. If they are sent to the office they will be sent home.

Xander Swift: For respectful play in the playground and always caring for his peers.

Willow Betts: being exceptionally helpful, very caring and well mannered with younger students.

Weeks 3 and 4

Henry Grob: Beautiful manners, being thoughtful and supportive of others

Allee McLeod: She is consistently respectful of everyone and is always kind and caring to others. She is an absolute pleasure to teach and always has a smile on her face.
