GIHS 2025 TRANSITION SCHEDULE (for Year 6 students) 

Please note the following arrangements advised to St.Joseph’s school from GIHS in regards to the GIHS Transition Schedule for any current Yr 6 students transitioning to Yr 7 at GIHS in 2025.

Following are the dates for Year 6 Transition at Glen Innes high school.

Please ensure that the dates are added to your calendar for 2024. 

• Term 4 2024: Week 5, Wednesday 13/11/24 11.30-1.30pm: Glen Innes High school Tour and BBQ.
  All year 6 students.
• Term 4 2024: Week 5 Wednesday 13/11/24 5.30pm : Year 6 Parent and Student Information night GIHS
• Term 4 2024: Week 6  Wednesday 20/11/24: All year 6 students full day transition at GIHS  
  (day 1 of 2 days)
• Term 4 2024, Week 7  Wednesday 27/11/24: All year 6 students full day transition (day 2 of 2)

Online enrolments will open about the middle to the end of term 3. Enrolment interviews for prospective students and their parents, to meet year advisors and ask questions about Glen Innes High school, will be at end of term 3 or beginning term 4. Should parents / carers have any questions or concerns about their student attending Glen Innes high school they can contact our Front Office 67321322.                                                                                  (from Naomi Muggleton, Head Teacher, Admin - GIHS)
