Data

As we have now completed our reports and received our NAPLAN data we are able to collate this data. These pieces of evidence can be triangulated with our other assessments, such as the PM reading benchmark and the mid year progressive achievement tests (PAT). Triangulating pieces of data together ensures that we are meeting the needs of the learners in our teaching and learning cycle. 

Strong Teams

This week our staff meeting was facilitated by Eli Simpson from Armidale Catholic Schools office. The focus of the meeting was ‘strong teams that enhance teaching and learning’. This is one of our intended futures from our annual improvement plan (AIP). The afternoon was beneficial as we collaborated on our shared focus as a strong team. There was lots of learning and plenty of laughs as we worked together. 

Professional Learning

Next week Amy Phillips and Maria Wilson will be undertaking professional learning at Armidale to continue with our focus with the MaST program in mathematics. We are looking forward to this training and bringing back fabulous ideas to improve our school pedagogy in mathematics.
