Principals' Message

Mrs Dominica Bearman

Dear Parents and Carers,

A warm welcome back to our students, staff and families for another extremely busy and productive term. We hope you enjoyed a restful break and were able to enjoy some special time with  family and friends. There was  definitely a buzz of excitement around the school as everyone caught up with their friends and shared holiday experiences. The students have settled very quickly into their learning routines in a positive manner with our dedicated staff.

Term 3 Learning Conferences

This week we have concluded our 'Three Way Learning Conferences'. It was great to witness such a fantastic response from our parent body in regards to attending these important learning conversations. It clearly demonstrates what a caring school community we have here at St Joseph's.

Staffing News

It is with great excitement that Mrs Bec Russell started her teaching career this week. We have been gifted this position from the Catholic Schools Office. Bec will be working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS

Over the past weeks, we have been working closely with the Armidale Catholic Schools Office to tighten our approaches to student attendance. We ask that families continue encouraging their children to attend school daily. The impact of having days off is visible in the children’s learning outcomes and continues through their life choices in years to come. The following tables show the data on missing school.
