Japanese News
Last term, students were introduced to the concept of ‘Children’s Day’ in Japan, and learnt how to celebrate it. The day is considered to be a national holiday in Japan, and families are often seen praying for the health and success of their children. This year, the Grade 2 students learnt about ‘Koinobori’ (fish streamers) and enjoyed participating in a ‘Koinobori’ colouring competition, where the Grade 6 art leaders decided the winners. A big thank you to the Art leaders for your assistance.
