Grandparents and Special Friends Day Reminder

Please remember we are celebrating Grandparents and Special Friends Day on Friday 26 July. We are looking forward to sharing the afternoon with these wonderful people. 

We will share photos of this special event in next week's newsletter.

On Friday 26 July, the Catholic Church honours St Ann and St Joachim who are the parents of Mary and the grandparents of Jesus. We do not know much about the grandparents of Jesus but we can safely say that Jesus would have shared a very special bond with these amazing people.

Let us pray that the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, bestows the Lord's strength to those who receive it and to their loved ones, and that it may become for everyone an ever more visible sign of compassion and hope. Amen
