Welcome to Week 4! It was wonderful to see so many families in the school celebrating Education Week and sharing in our students' learning and achievements.   

SRC Olympic Updates and Green and Gold Day

In our last SRC meeting, S1S proposed an idea to make announcements over the school's PA system relating to the Olympics. We also discussed the possibility of holding a Green and Gold Day as numerous students had taken the idea to Mr Pryce or their class SRC rep. The SRC discussed the suggestions and voted unanimously to adopt the proposals.

As a result, last week, three of our Stage 1 SRC members provided an update via a morning message on the Olympic Medal tally. They also gave students 'the scoop' on any overnight Olympic developments. It was the first time our Stage 1 SRC representatives had spoken on the school's PA system to the school and they did a fabulous job. Well done Thea, Angus and Evie! 

The week culminated with our Green and Gold Day, celebrating our Aussie Olympians and their achievements. Thank you to our students and the SRC for their initiative and initiation of these events.
