Students are encouraged to wear their House colours. Parents are invited to attend and join in what promises to be an exciting and enjoyable day.
In Term 4, Prep students have been consolidating the fundamental motor skill of kicking and learning about AFL. They have been able to use trial and error whilst exploring how to kick a football in various ways.
In Term 4, Years 1 to 6 students have been learning the fundamental motor skill of hitting and striking in badminton. Students have used their hitting and striking skills in different ways this year including hitting a tennis ball. Badminton is a new sport for most students, with the biggest challenge being that of using a smaller racquet to make contact with a shuttlecock. It has been wonderful to see students use the Learning Power of 'Perseverance' to apply their fundamental motor skills in different ways and challenge one another with their learning.
